Caprolactam market continued the rollover today. Purchasers kept the wait-and-see stance and sellers stopped quotation. USD quotation of long-term cargo was around $2900-2950/ton and boned materials were negotiated around $3050-3070/ton.
RMB area Sellers intended to quoted the goods at Rmb 25000/ton, but actual negotiation price was pegged at Rmb 24800-25000/ton or lower. Downstream plants still operated at low level and demand for caprolactam remained insipid.
Overall market presented bearish and is expected to slide down in near-term.
