Flame Stop II has been specially formulated for outdoor application. This product contains polymers and surfactants that allow it to penetrate a wood surfaces and create a weather tight adhesion bond.
Flame Stop II contains additives that seal in the active fireretardant chemicals. Flame Stop II not only retards the material beingtreated, but adds weather-resistance.
Flame Stop II has a tendency to bring out the natural beauty of thewood surface; whether it be shingles or other exterior wood products.The weather resistance is accomplished by allowing the product to cure,then becoming insoluble. Flame Stop II can also be applied to various types of fabricsthat are used for exterior purposes such as awnings, stage decorations,costumes, etc. It also works very well on decor thatching, wood stageprops, hay barriers, hula skirts and any other porous celluloticmaterial. Tested by US Testing Co. No. (LA62466). Flame Stop II is awood preservative for Cedar Shake Shingles.
