Spanish Antitrust Division has been conducting massive inspection of Spanish elastomer and PU foam insulation companies.
According to official statement, this sudden inspection initialed from January 25th and is directed to some violation of agreement like setting prices, segmentation of market and involvement of relevant technology standard and product quality while violation competition law. This inspection is the initial act of anti-trust investigation. If there are any findings of right infringement traces, Spanish anti-trust division will institute legal proceedings.
European and American relevant anti-trust divisions have started to investigate industrial manipulation pricing activities. These cases are still in investigation processes and American customers have conducted collective appeals against the companies manipulating blowing agent pricings.
