Our construction conservation energy standard has been improved visibly and new construction need to realize 65% of energy conservation. Our construction conservation is only at the starting stage and main materials are polystyrene. There is a need to realize 43 billion square meters exterior wall’s energy conservation. PU accounts for 75% market share of international developed country construction energy insulation materials while polystyrene and glass wool take respective share of 5% and 10%. PU rigid materials take a less than 10% share of construction insulation materials. Construction conservation insulation market could be the most potential region for our PU rigid foam consumption growth.
30% of our social energy consumption is in construction and heating and refrigeration consume the most energy. In heat consumption wall accounts for 43%, window and door 40%, house 12% and floor 5%.
