BASF lower the profit expectation due to economic recession

(2011-10-25)--The rising expectation for European chemical industry is expected to lead to economy further recession especially in Germany and France. Next few quarters would see steady recession period.

At present BASF has lower the 2012 and 2013 profit expectation from 6% to average level and share price has adjusted from Euro 75 /share to Euro 68/share. Compared with other chemical producers, their share value is pretty competitive.
