Bayer Material Science Bayer Integrated Production Site in Shanghai Caojing TDI plant is expected for onproduction ceremony. Meanwhile Bayer Material Science will hold the 10th anniversary activity for Bayer Shanghai integrated Site (BISS) and Bayer Polymer’s Science & Technology Centre (PRDC).
It is reported that this facility applied Bayer’s innovative gas-phase phosgenation technology, which is expected to cut down the consumption of solvent, energy and operation cost. Compared with the traditional operation device, this new technology could reduce 60,000 tons carbon dioxide emission. At the same time, new technology would bring down 20% operation cost for this kind of large scale of production device.
