Several evolutionary improvements to Graco’s Reactor spray foam and polyurea dispensing machine the Reactor were unveiled at its HQ in Genk Belguim this week.
Enhancements the Reactor2 features include an on-board computer which not only stores data on the machine’s activities and chemical recipes but also allows those records to be accessed in real time from an internet-enabled smart device anywhere in the world.
Design changes have reduced the polyurea and spray foam mixing machine’s footprint by 40% compared to the traditional Reactor E-30. A sacrificial surge protector and an on-screen troubleshooting tool were also among innovations announced at the event.
Mike Nash, the company’s sales manager HPCF, EMEA, said the machine showcased what Graco are particularly good at creating unique products that do not fit into the “me too” category emulating products already available from competitors.
“With this product, we have broken the mould and despite the innovations there is no price increase.”
He said the changes to the machine’s design had been led by the company’s network of distributors and end users.
