A collaboration between two Rampf companies - Dosiertechnik and Giessharze - is set to deliver a system for gasketing, sealing and encapsulating.
Rampf’s new DR-CNC robot will dispense the fast-curing soft integral foam RAKU-PUR Speed live at Elecrama exhibition in Bangalore next month.
According to the company, the robot’s variable X-Y-Z strokes enable the three-dimensional dispensing of sealants, adhesives, and encapsulants.
Rampfs’ fast-curing soft integral foam Raku-Pur Speed, is suitable for adhesion to all kinds of materials in assembly processes, a company press release stated.
“Once the foam has been applied, the component is suitable for immediate further processing without the need to invest in curing equipment.
“The ambient temperature is sufficient to cure the sealing material applied in situ and within minutes. A short conveyor distance of two to three meters is enough to apply the foam gasket and ensure the component is ready for use,” the release also stated.
