BASF to increase prices for BDO in Asia Pacific

With immediate effect, or as existing contracts permit, BASF will increase its selling prices for the following products in Asia-Pacific:
 

1,4 Butanediol (BDO)                                              +100 USD/t
 

Tetrahydrofuran (THF)                                             +150 USD/t
 

Polytetramethylene ether glycol (PolyTHF)                   +150 USD/t

 
The price adjustments are necessitated by the increase of raw material cost and production cost, says BASF.
