Bayer MaterialScience LLC is offering a new benefit to its accredited spray polyurethane foam (SPF) insulation contractors that will not only help improve contractors’ project estimating and bidding, but also help them look more professional with customers from the start. Bayer is working with JobPro™ Technology to provide its web-based estimating and bidding program to qualified contractors.
JobPro™ is an online sales and management tool specifically for the SPF insulation industry. JobPro™ software helps SPF contractors track leads, develop bids, generate customer proposals, and assess job profitability and material usage data. Because it is web-based, contractors can generate and send proposals with a computer or smartphone. Contractors can customize proposals with additional information such as Bayer-branded SPF insulation information sheets and regionally-specific energy efficiency requirements. Customers can approve proposals immediately with an electronic signature, or print and sign the proposal.
Bayer will subsidize the cost of a JobPro™ subscription for its accredited SPF insulation contractors. Bayer believes it is a good resource to further the use of SPF insulation.

This tool is another resource to position SPF as the insulation material of choice.”
JobPro™ Technology estimates their program saves contractors 50 percent of the time it would normally take to generate an estimate and send a customer proposal. JobPro™ allows contractors to enter project measurements directly into the system at the job site; the program auto-calculates customer cost and job profitability using the contractor’s pricing details. Once the job is complete, the contractor can compare estimated and actual profitability based on the amount of SPF insulation installed.
