Phthalates Content Test
Test Requested:
Accordance with Entry 51 & 52 of Regulation (EC) No 552/2009 amending Annex XVII of REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (previously restricted under Directive 2005/84/EC).
Test method:
ASTM D 3421: Analysis was performed by Gas Chromatograph / Mass Spectrometer (GC/MS).

4. Diisobutyl Phthalate (DIBP)

7. Dicyclohexyl Phthalate (DCHP)
8. Diphenyl Phthalate (DPhP)
9. Dibenzyl Phthalate (DBzP)
10. Di-n-nonyl Phthalate (DNP)
11. Diisooctyl Phthalate (DiOP)
12. Di-n-hexyl phthalate(DnHP)
13. Bis(2-methoxyethyl) phthalate(DMEP)
14. Diallyl phthalate(DAP)
15. n-decyl, n-octyl phthalate(nDnOP)
16. di-n-decyl phthalate(DnDP)
17. Diisopentylphthalate(DiPP)
18. n-Pentyl iso-pentyl phthalate(iPnPP)
Remarks:
European Parliament adopted new phthalate Entry 51 & 52 of Regulation (EC) No 552/2009 amending Annex XVII of REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (previously restricted under Directive 2005/84/EC);
1. DBP, BBP and DEHP are totally banned for use in any toys on childcare articles where their concentration exceeds 0.1% by mass.
2. DINP, DNOP, DIDP are totally banned for use in toys and childcare articles that can be mouthed where their concentration exceeds 0.1% by mass.
