1. Characteristics of Product

This product is a new type of inorganic flame retardants, and specialized for PVC, which contains aluminum hydroxide and other flame-retarding agents. Based on flame retarding synergism among those flame retardant components, the product can function in accelerating formation of char layers and terminating generated free radical in combustion. The prepared PVC composites are endued with good mechanical properties because of its dispersion and its reduction of loading amount. Meanwhile, the product provides a significant flame retarding synergistic effect with antimony trioxide, and leads to low smoke release.

The product has mainly been applied for flame-retarded flexible PVC materials, especially in wire and cable fields, loading mass amount is usually in the range of 15%-30%.
